Catfishing has always been unwaveringly associated with treble hooks. However, their use was causing catfish large and unnecessary injuries. The VÁGNER brand has decided to set an example as a company and therefore has not included treble hooks in its portfolio at all. Therefore, we put even more emphasis on the selection of quality single hooks.
We have focused on 4 models: the Ebro, Livebait Pro, Livebait Go and Power Octopus. Each of these models is available in a wide range of sizes, so you can cover all catfish fishing techniques as well as different types and sizes of lures.
All models have welded eyelets to prevent cutting the leader material when tackling trophy fish. The hooks have a unique double surface treatment.
The first coating in black nickel ensures long-lasting sharpness and excellent corrosion resistance when fishing.
The second coating increases your safety when fishing for catfish. Thanks to the luminescent treatment, the hooks are able to absorb energy and re-emit it in the form of visible light. Thanks to this, you are able more easily to determine the position of the hooks in the catfish’s mouth in weak lighting. The hook can then be removed quickly and gently. In addition, you will avoid dangerous injuries to your hands.
