T-Shirt UV Skin

The men's UV skin T-shirt complies with EU regulation 2016/425. This product provides protection from ultraviolet rays and complies with AS/NZS 4399:2017. The UV Skin Printed Long Sleeve T-Shirt has been specially made from a material with a UV protection factor of 50+ and a composition of 90% polyester and 10% elastane. It thus provides effective protection against the harmful component of the sun's radiation and reliably protects not only when fishing.

The UPF number reveals how much of the UV radiation penetrates the garment. A factor of 50 means that only one fiftieth of the radiation that hits the fabric (i.e. 2%) is transmitted. This means that the skin underneath turns red in 50 times longer than it would without this protection, and 97.5 to 98% of the radiation is blocked.

However, for maximum protection, it is still advisable to use sunscreen at regular intervals to ensure that the skin is 100% protected. Clothing does not protect uncovered parts of the body! Remember also that individual self-protection times vary depending on the intensity of the radiation, latitude, time of year and time of day, weather and reflection of the radiation and the extent of air pollution.
